I do not see a delegation for the four footed. I see no seat for the eagles. We forget and we consider ourselves superior, but we are after all a mere part of the creation, and we must consider to understand where we are, and we stand somewhere between the mountain and the ant, somewhere and only there as part and parcel of the creation.

I pledge allegiance to true indianhood and will never allow the good name of our ancient forefathers to be trampled into the dust. We turn back five centuries for our examples and act accordingly to the uprightness displayed by our ancestors at that time. Let us honor and revere the memory of them by setting a good example.

I N S I D E AX: Alone In The Dark
---------------------------------------------
Well, AX is dying. Only some handful of people are still left over logging in every now and then. It's a pity cause it once was a fairly good game. But somehow, it really had to die slowly because of it's construction. And it's worth to take a closer look at why this is the case.
The baseline principle of the game is simple: convert your AP into XP and collect as much money as you can by doing so. To accomplish this you only need to attack other players, mainly those who carry the most money on their hands and have defenses lower than your maximum attack strength. If you attack successfully, a certain percentage of your opponents cash on hand (COH) is transferred on your hand and the AP you used in the attack are converted into XP, thus increasing your power and rank. At the end of the month which is defining the round there are winners as for being richest (money) and most powerful player (XP). That's it, basically. But during the round you'll be limited by the amount of AP you get per hour and the number of bankings you can make. Here is where the UP's (upgrade points) come into play - you need them to improve your account, e.g. the number of AP gained per hour, the amount of your hourly wages, the number of bankings per day, or even for an enablement of auto-banks, geez. But you start low on UP's and you only get a very small amount after each round. You'd need months if not years to build a reasonable strong account. Why? Well, AX is primarily designed to raise money for it's owner. And this is the disease of the game - if you really wanna play this game you're urged to buy some UP's to increase your chances. But if you look closely then you realize that you really don't need to play the game if you'd be willing to pay for it. Why? Well, if you don't care about your real money then you can just buy the win: get enough AP, burn them, and there you are. Boredom.
But even if you don't wanna pay, you will most likely end up in boredom: If you got your account maxed out, just burn your AP, set your autobanks and you will get rich and powerful rather automatically without really playing the game. You just need to know that some guys in here have prepared 200 - yes, in words two-hundred - pseudo-accounts just for this single reason to be able to quickly burn AP's into XP without even the need for thinking. It's the accounts named from "s1" up to "s200". No one ever played them, they are just out there for that single reason - as easy targets to quickly get AP's converted into XP's. Ooooh, no, wait, be careful, there is one real account hidden among those - that's "s131", member of the extra-ultimate crew here on AX, geez, better you stay away from him, lol. But else: go there for burning, max your wage multiplier, get all the autobanks set and then sit back and watch the money accumulate on your bank account. Great game? Mmmh, well, seem to be a matter of taste.
But ok, now, that's not all. There's just one more way to compete for a win, even when you're on a noob account like mine with close to no improvements at all (see it here: http://i33.tinypic.com/2l8g3yf.jpg) and absolutely no will to spend even one cent for this "game". But this strategy too has not much to do with the original gameplay because for this you need to be on a specific internet connection. The makers of the game not only wanted to become rich(er) but also to become famous. So they implemented a "voting booth" but didn't limit that one much. If you don't have a maxed account already and you don't wanna pay for THIS then you can try your luck there. If all went fine you maybe able to compete within the top 10 or even for a win. Well, this option could have served as a rescue for the game but - you guess right - it doesn't. The most important ingredient for a successful MMOPG is it's community of players. That is, the community's behaviors.
Now, you think this is all shit? NO, you're plain wrong. We're all real addicts in here, trust me. And that's a great thing. It deserves revival! So help get AX back as The Internet's Fastest Growing Browser-based Massively Multiplayer Online Game, roflmao, and VOTE. VOTE VOTE VOTE!! Vote for AX and be rewarded with a massive amount of AP helping you to become one of the most powerful players - for FREE! Trust me, this is what is wanted - go voting along with your unique player id for them to check and they will allow for multiple votes under your unique player id - you just have to bring some different IP's and that's it. Funny enough. It's not only an AP, UP, XP, and PP game, it's also an IP bingo challenge. Watch it here: http://i56.tinypic.com/urcyx.jpg
And here's the calculation: The maximum amount of AP that can be earned on a maxed account is 35 points per hour, i.e. 840 AP per day, which is 26,040 points in a month with 31 days. Then add a bit as offset when the round starts. If you're good enough to not lose any attack then this is where you'll end up as your XP at the end of the round. Hence, everything above say 26,500 points must stem from (i) real bucks, (ii) converted UP's, or (iii) voting. Now, the fun of the voting game is that even on a rather noobish account (say, 9 AP/hr, 8 banks/day, 65% deposit percentage, and cloak defense) you can urge some runner-ups - even those on fatty accounts - to also choose one of those three gaming strategies. Isn't this real fun? No? Right you are, be aware, some of them really don't like that, lol.
Now, shut up'n'play your guitar!
Well, that's cheapness - and this is cheapness here (cited from FZ - a famous American philosopher).
Nuff said.
* * * FAREWELL WAYLANDER * * *
You might not know me, but I know you fairly well, Way. Our first encounter was on August 7, 2005 at 3:41pm. I attacked you but wasn't able to steal your money 'cause you already had a 4,560,645 defense power, geez. Our last encounter was about exactly 5 yrs later on August 1, 0:07am - I got $116.48 'cause your account defended with 85 power only. That was 'cause you retired. Too bad. However, maybe I was the last you ever sniped - what an honor. Hopefully you'd be strong enough to resist any forces trying to bring you back to this game. Instead, enjoy your lifetime and don't waste it anymore. R.I.P. Waylander.
